Motorcycle Rider Injured after Colliding with Car in Wilmington

Wilmington, Delaware (July 16, 2017) – A motorcycle operator was rescued from under a vehicle a vehicle and hospitalized following an accident in Wilmington on Saturday evening, according to Rescue Crews.

The incident took place at about 9:10 p.m. July 16, at the intersection of W 4th Street & N Van Buren Street.

As per reports from the crash site, crews worked on freeing the victim for quite some time before transporting the patient to the hospital by an ambulance. The victim was reportedly talking to rescue crews.

One of the occupants of the involved vehicle was taken to a hospital, but another refused treatment.
