Woman Injured in Crash on Milltown Road in Willmington Delaware

Willmington, Delaware (August 11, 2017) – One woman was injured in a car crash on Thursday afternoon at the intersection of Milltown Road and Newport-Gap Pike.

It is reported that the incident occurred on August 10, 2017, leaving a woman seriously injured.

According to New Castle County Police, a small being driven by a pregnant woman car rear ended a GMC pickup truck.

Crews from several area fire departments returning from a nearby call noticed the accident and called for an ambulance. The woman was taken to an area hospital and her condition is not yet known.

The driver of the pickup was not injured.

Investigations are underway to determine factors that led to the crash.
