New Castle County, Delaware ( July 25, 2017)- A van driver injured after a crash including a school bus took place on Tuesday delaying summer school bus ride for some elementary school students, according to New Castle County Police.

The injury accident occurred on Chesterfield on Tuesday morning.

The first responders located an accident involving two vehicles; a minivan and a school bus that was traveling to Eisenberg Elementary School.

The children were not injured as they were checked by crews. The driver of the van was injured and was hospitalized with injuries described as non-life threatening.

The vehicles involved were lightly damaged.
