Motorcyclist Injured after Slamming into the back of Van in Delaware
Newark, Delaware ( July 31, 2017) – A motorcycle rider was injured after colliding with a van in Newark Sunday afternoon according to Aetna Hose, Hook and Ladder, and Delaware Police.
The crash took place at about 1:30 p.m. at the intersection of Martindale Drive and E. Chestnut Hill in Newark.
Crews arrived at the crash site and located a van with rear-end damage and a motorcycle damaged at the front end.
The motorcycle rider was being treated while Troopers investigated the incident.
Chestnut Hill Road traffic was diverted into the Shoprite parking lot as crews removed debris from the roadway.
The motorcyclist refused to be hospitalized after the treatment.
