New Castle, Delaware, (July 4, 2017) – A pedestrian was seriously Injured Friday afternoon after being hit by a vehicle in New Castle, Delaware.

The accident took place at about 1:11 p.m. on the southbound side of Route 13 also known as S. DuPont Highway, near Route 40.

According to the report, a pedestrian sustained major injuries in the crash. The identity of the victim was not immediately available.
