Motorcyclist Killed in Multi-Vehicle Crash on Interstate-95 in Christina

Christiana, Delaware (July 17, 2017) – A rider was killed Sunday night after being struck by several vehicles in Christiana as reported by a local news source.

All northbound lanes of Interstate-95 were closed down for several hours following a crash involving a motorcycle and several vehicles.

At around 10 p.m. Sunday, July 16, a motorcyclist lost control of their bike and crashed into the median south of Churchman’s Marsh. The victim fell and was struck by several passing vehicles.

Medics arrived at the scene and pronounced the rider dead.

Details about the cause of the crash were not provided since it was still under an active investigation.
