Worker Injured in Edgemoor Construction Site Accident at Merchants Square Shopping Center
Edgemoor, Delaware (July 25, 2017) – A worker sustained injuries after falling at a construction site in Edgemoor on Tuesday morning, according to authorities.
The incident took place at about 10:30 a.m. July 26, in the Merchants Square shopping center in the 4400 block of Governor Printz Boulevard.
As per authorities, a man thought to be aged 19 years, fell 20 feet from a girder.
The victim was airlifted to hospital by state police helicopter.
Limited details regarding the cause of the accident are available at this time. The condition of the victim was also not known immediately.
