Injuries Sustained in Tractor-Trailer Versus Car Collision in Camden-Wyoming

Camden, Delaware (August 2, 2017) – A car and a tractor trailer collided in Camden-Wyoming on Wednesday morning causing both vehicles to burn and closed Route 13, according to authorities.

The fiery accident occurred at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday, August 2 in the area of Thomas Harmon Drive south of Route 10.

According to Delaware Department of Transportation camera caught on the scene, flames were seen consuming the wreck sending a column of dark smoke up the sky.

Some ambulances and medics were sent to the crash site, but limited details regarding the number or severity of injuries were available at this time.

The road was closed in both directions according to Delaware State Police.

An investigation into the incident is still ongoing.
