3 Hospitalized in Motorcycle Crash at Newport Gap Pike and Mill Creek Road
New Castle, Delaware (July 17, 2017)- A motor vehicle crash involving a motorcycle occurred in New Castle County causing three people to be hospitalized on Monday, according to New Castle County Paramedics Spokeswoman.
The accident was reported at around 8:15 p.m. at the intersection of Newport Gap Pike and Mill Creek Road.
New Castle County Paramedics arrived at the crash site and located three victims being attended to by responding fire companies. A 42-year-old female was injured in the arm and the head. She was taken to Christiana Hospital by Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance accompanied by New Castle County paramedics.
A 41-year-old male was injured in the head and the leg. He also was taken to Christiana Hospital by Cranston Heights Fire Company accompanied by New Castle County paramedics, in serious condition.
The third victim was a female, 79, and was injured in the neck and back. She was also taken to Christiana Hospital by Mill Creek Fire Company ambulance accompanied by Emergency Medical Technicians, in a stable condition.
Little information regarding how the accident occurred was available at this time.
The incident is under investigation by Delaware State Police
