2 Injured in Hockessin Two-Car Crash at Limestone and Little Baltimore Roads

Hockessin, Delaware (July 17, 2017)- A serious injury involving two cars was reported Monday afternoon in Hockessin, New Castle County injuring two people according to Delaware state police.

The accident was reported at 2:50 p.m. July 17, at the intersection of Limestone Road and Little Baltimore Road.

New Castle County Paramedics and the Hockessin Fire Company were dispatched to the crash site. Hockessin Fire Company located two cars involved in the crash heavily damaged, with at least one person trapped in the wreck.

At least one of the victims was extricated by a firefighter using hydraulic tools from their vehicles and took the victim to an awaiting Trooper 4 across the Street. The second victim was taken by ground ambulance to a local hospital.

The road was closed for rescue workers tried to free the patients.
